TL;DR
Reverse Design Engineer (f,m,d) (Mechanical Seals): Creating 3D models and bills of materials, measuring mechanical seal components, and preparing technical documentation with an accent on reverse engineering, design verification, and rotating equipment. Focus on verifying seal parameters and suitability, developing quality procedures and refurbishment manuals, and presenting findings in technical and program reviews.

Location: Vimercate, Italy; onsite. An EU work permit is required.

Annual gross salary: €35,000–€50,000

What you will do

  • Create concept 3D models and related bills of materials.
  • Measure and check the dimensions of mechanical seal components.
  • Verify measured seal designs, design parameters, and component suitability.
  • Prepare technical documents in line with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Set quality procedures and create installation and operation manuals for competitor seal control and refurbishment.
  • Participate in technical and program reviews as a presenter.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or technical background.
  • Five years of experience in mechanical seal, pump, or rotating equipment design.
  • Knowledge of major drawing software, preferably Solid Edge.
  • Knowledge of office tools.
  • Fluent English and Italian, both spoken and written.
  • EU work permit required.
