Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Lead supplier quality engineering for harness families, re-assessing and qualifying the existing supplier base.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and gap analyses to support new product roadmaps and future business strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement through supplier scorecards and cost recovery initiatives for quality issues.
• Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to establish stable manufacturing within the supply chain.
• Implement 8D root cause analysis to develop corrective and preventive action plans for field failures.
• Partner with Sourcing and Engineering to define Critical to Quality (CTQ) metrics and communicate them to suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality development.
• Must have legal authority to work in the United States.
• Six Sigma certification required.
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, and MASP tools (including 8D).
• Experience with Lean Transformation, A3 strategic planning, and Hoshin Kanri.
