What you will do

• Lead supplier quality qualification and approval activities, including capability assessments and risk evaluations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers to reduce defects, variation, and waste.
• Manage supplier non-conformances by facilitating root cause analysis and ensuring effective corrective actions.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits and perform First Article Inspection (FAI) to verify compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier alignment with product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Product Assurance in regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
• Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.
• Willingness to travel 50-60%, including at least 10% to China.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.

Nice to have

• Experience with EEE components or electronics supply chains.
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI / AS9102).
• Experience in New Space or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance or supplier quality assurance.
