What you will do

• Lead supplier qualification, audits, and development including capability assessments, risk evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance with data-driven metrics, ensure adherence to quality standards, and minimize cost of poor quality.
• Manage non-conformances through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely resolutions to prevent production disruptions.
• Conduct on-site supplier visits, support FAI inspections, and prepare suppliers for new product introductions and scaling.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams on supplier selection, risk communication, and alignment with requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Product Assurance in regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, medical devices)
• Experience working directly with external suppliers and managing quality performance
• Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical) and manufacturing processes
• Experience with root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent; strong data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments; ability to influence without direct authority

Nice to have

• Experience with EEE components or electronics supply chains
• Familiarity with FAI / AS9102
• Experience in New Space or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing
• Relevant certifications in quality or supplier quality assurance
