What you will do

• Serve as the primary agent for crop insurance policies including MPCI, Margin Protection, Crop Hail, and Livestock products.
• Develop and execute a personal marketing plan to identify customer needs and grow a portfolio of complex operations.
• Conduct sales presentations and represent the association at regional agricultural and industry events.
• Process insurance applications and forms, verify underwriting calculations, and manage policy changes.
• Utilize precision farming data to gather acreage and production reporting information.
• Collaborate with insurance company representatives to resolve policy issues and drive sales results.

Requirements

• Experience in an agriculture-related field with a proven track record in sales and service.
• Proven expertise in relationship management and growing a book of business.
• Experience servicing large, complex agricultural operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Licensed crop insurance agent or insurance company representative experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time to meet customers.
