What you will do

• Manage a caseload of Small Claims Track cases, ensuring all court deadlines are strictly met.
• Analyze evidence to create initial case strategies regarding liability and quantum.
• Conduct negotiations with clients, defendants, and third-party solicitors to reach efficient settlements.
• Draft court documents, witness statements, and professional legal correspondence.
• Liaise with Counsel and guide defendants through the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate records within case management, billing, and management information systems.

Requirements

• Established experience in law through further education or professional experience.
• File handling experience within a law practice or insurance company.
• Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles.
• Basic knowledge of the Court Practice Rules.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workloads in a process-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
