Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, United States; significant time in the manufacturing and production environment is required, with occasional domestic travel of up to approximately 20%.

What you will do
- Own and continuously improve final assembly processes, including routings, standard work, work instructions, process flows, and visual standards.
- Provide hands-on shop-floor support to troubleshoot defects, bottlenecks, process variability, and production constraints.
- Analyze line balance, takt time, cycle time, workstation layout, ergonomics, tooling, and work-cell performance.
- Apply Lean, 5S/6S, Kaizen, A3, DMAIC, and root-cause analysis to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Partner with Quality on PFMEAs, control plans, nonconformance investigations, CAPA, audits, and audit-ready documentation.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain on DFM feedback, engineering changes, scale-up, material flow, and capacity planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–4 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a final assembly environment.
- Applied experience with Lean manufacturing, including standard work, 5S/6S, and Kaizen participation.
- Direct production and shop-floor support experience, with the ability to read mechanical, electrical, and fluid assembly drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and hold a valid driver’s license.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification or formal training, preferably Green Belt.
- Experience with ISO quality systems, audits, root-cause analysis, CAPA, PFMEA, and control plans.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Experience with HVAC systems, piping, fluid handling, or electromechanical assemblies.
