What you will do

• Manage first-shift production floor and warehouse support activities while maintaining safe, orderly operations.
• Plan staffing, production quotas, work-cell assignments, material handling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor product quality and coordinate machine or production-line adjustments to meet specifications.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and provide performance feedback to production employees.
• Communicate process changes, production information, and shift handover details to employees and managers.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide backup support for the Production Manager.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to develop and coach a diverse team.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a light manufacturing environment.

• Forklift operation experience.
