What you will do

• Conduct KYC/KYB due diligence on new merchants by reviewing required client documentation.
• Analyze merchant information using internal and external tools to assess risks and determine necessary actions.
• Perform PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons) screening and adverse media checks.
• Prepare external regulatory reports and filings.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and client-specific processing requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and improve internal compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in KYC/KYB and merchant onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
• Banking or Fintech experience is a must.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Spanish and English are required.
• Strong analytical ability, research skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a high-paced operational environment.

Nice to have

• Specific training in Financial Crime: AML, Sanctions, AB&C, and/or Fraud.
