What you will do

• Design and lead the global public affairs strategy aligned with business priorities and market expansion.
• Establish the public affairs function, including operational processes and selection of external lobbying firms.
• Lead direct engagement with government ministries, telecom regulators, and consumer protection bodies.
• Monitor and analyze policy developments across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America.
• Build and manage relationships with industry associations such as GSMA and digital economy coalitions.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams to integrate regulatory assessments into business decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years in public affairs, government relations, or regulatory affairs within the tech or telecoms sector.
• Proven track record of influencing regulatory outcomes and managing multi-jurisdictional programs.
• Deep understanding of the telecoms and digital economy regulation landscape.
• Ability to operate autonomously and build a function from the ground up.
• Must be based in Spain, the UK, or the UAE.
• English: C1+ proficiency required for meetings and async communication.

• Experience managing external affairs agencies across multiple geographies.
