What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including API agreements, ToS, MSAs, and reseller contracts.
• Lead privacy and compliance initiatives, specifically advising on GDPR and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Support strategic corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, and funding rounds.
• Provide legal guidance for new product launches and ensure marketing communications align with regulatory standards.
• Design and implement scalable legal workflows and deliver cross-functional training on compliance and negotiation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, managing daily operational decisions independently.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience as in-house counsel or within a top-tier tech-focused law firm.
• Demonstrated expertise in privacy law (GDPR) and experience in tech or B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record in commercial negotiation, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• High proficiency in English (C1+) with exceptional communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid office.

• Knowledge of Spanish language.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and AI tools like Claude.
