What you will do

• Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials for AI system development.
• Draft legal explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance and regulatory scenarios.
• Evaluate AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, reasoning, consistency, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
• Develop scenario-based legal questions and answers reflecting current laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Identify legal ambiguities and regulatory risks, and recommend improvements to AI-generated content.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and provide feedback on legal datasets and AI training processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in U.S. compliance law and U.S. regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with legal document analysis, legal writing, drafting, and regulatory research.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active attorney license in good standing in the United States.
• 3–15 years of recent experience practicing compliance law in the United States.
• Judicial clerkship experience.
• Law teaching, legal writing, law review, or legal journal editorial experience.
