Compliance Attorney (AI)

What you will do

• Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials for AI system development.
• Draft detailed legal explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance and regulatory scenarios.
• Evaluate AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, reasoning, consistency, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
• Develop scenario-based legal questions and answers based on current compliance laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Identify legal ambiguities and regulatory risks, then recommend improvements to AI-generated content.
• Provide feedback that improves AI training processes and legal dataset quality while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Expertise in U.S. compliance law and U.S. compliance frameworks.
• Legal document analysis, legal writing and drafting, and regulatory research.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Active attorney license in good standing in the United States is preferred.
• Three to fifteen years of recent experience practicing compliance law in the United States is preferred.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Judicial clerkship experience.
• Experience teaching law or legal writing at an accredited law school.
• Editorial experience with a law review or legal journal.
