Lead Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. The role requires 5–10% travel.

Salary: $180,000–$288,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead the development and delivery of scalable data science and AI products for hirify.global Acceptance and Intelligent Commerce platforms.
• Define technical frameworks, coding standards, reusable patterns, and methodologies while mentoring engineers and data scientists.
• Lead data extraction, wrangling, modeling, quality, completeness, and governance initiatives.
• Build and guide predictive analytics, AI/ML models, metrics, and data-driven insights.
• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and Cybersecurity to clarify requirements and system dependencies.
• Identify platform trends and define roadmaps for upgrades, security remediation, and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience building AI/ML-powered models for predictive analytics and insights.
• Experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Redis, NoSQL, and RDBMS.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL pipelines, data analysis, metrics, and evaluation.
• Experience with big data and analytics technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and MapReduce.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office setting in Bellevue, with at least 3 days in the office.
