What you will do

• Define north-star metrics and analytical frameworks to drive product strategy.
• Design, build, and ship GenAI solutions from prototype to production.
• Architect context engineering pipelines leveraging knowledge graphs.
• Lead prompt engineering, including system prompts, function calling, and versioning.
• Implement evaluation and observability frameworks, including LLM-as-judge and cost/latency monitoring.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on unstructured text data to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
• Proven expertise in unstructured text analytics, NLP, and LLM workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and cloud LLM providers (Azure, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex insights to executive stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and based in California.

Nice to have

• Experience with data integration and pipeline development.
• Practical knowledge of security and privacy (PII handling, RBAC).
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
