Lead Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; hybrid schedule with three days onsite

Salary: $133,400–$200,100 annually, plus a 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Translate complex data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
• Explore, mine, and analyze data for business and organizational use cases.
• Develop advanced AI, machine learning, and statistical models.
• Lead recommendations and analytics solutions from ideation through delivery.
• Present findings to data scientists, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
• Coach, review, and delegate work to less experienced professionals while collaborating with business clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or in a similar role.
• 7+ years of experience coding with SQL, Python, R, Spark, or similar statistical and database languages.
• 7+ years of experience with machine learning, including NLP, image recognition, boosted trees, or related methods.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platform tools and techniques.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or advanced degree in statistics, data science, physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a comparable discipline.
