What you will do

• Develop accurate BIM models and detailed construction documentation for mechanical systems.
• Create 3D models for piping, plumbing, and ductwork while ensuring compliance with building codes and project specifications.
• Identify design conflicts and communicate issues to project leadership for resolution.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with other trades by reviewing models and adjusting layouts.
• Produce coordination drawings, sign-off documentation, and final record drawings.
• Prepare piping/plumbing spool sheets, bills of materials, and fabrication files.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 3+ years of trade apprenticeship experience combined with CAD/BIM training.
• 2+ years of drafting or design experience in piping, plumbing, sheet metal, or related mechanical industries.
• Proficiency with BIM and design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, and/or Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and mechanical building coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
