Quality Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Enforce work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Lead and coach a disciplined team, monitoring performance indicators like PPM to reduce defects.
• Analyze problems and implement preventive and corrective actions using Six Sigma and other quality tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
• Prepare 8D reports and communicate quality status to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (preferably as a licensed Engineer).
• 5+ years of related work experience in an electronics or automotive manufacturing company.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and software, specifically Minitab.
• Strong human relations and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
