Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Ensure plant products comply with customer specifications, company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze defects, yield, scrap, and non-conforming materials while supporting PPM and LAR targets.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.
• Support internal and external audits by analyzing findings, developing corrective actions, verifying effectiveness, and closing action items.
• Handle customer complaints, test reports, and quality requests using 8D methodology and other quality tools.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a small to medium group of inspectors while aligning daily quality targets and reducing production defects.

Requirements

• Engineering degree; a professional engineering license is preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in electronics or automotive manufacturing; semiconductor experience is preferred.
• Human relations, leadership, coaching, and team-management skills.
• Strong knowledge of statistical tools and software such as Minitab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
