Quality Engineer 1 (Semiconductors)

Location: On-site in Yankton, South Dakota, United States. Occasional travel to customers and other hirify.global facilities may be required.

What you will do

• Define quality criteria, test equipment and methods, and inspection requirements under supervision.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Inspection, Production, Purchasing, and other departments on product quality and process efficiency.
• Develop product and process performance measurements, monthly management reports, customer reports, and quality trend analyses.
• Review and coordinate corrective actions, including responsibility assignment and completion tracking.
• Support ISO-9001 and IATF 16949 audits, customer quality surveys, and government reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs through refinement of materials and methods.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with quality specifications such as ISO-9001 and IATF 16949.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Ability to work on-site in Yankton, South Dakota.
