Quality Engineer II (Manufacturing)

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; the position will move to the new Lexington, Minnesota facility when it opens in 2027, with onboarding and training at facilities in Blaine or Anoka.

Salary: $62,900–$116,900 annually, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Represent the Quality function and serve as a primary liaison with customers.
• Facilitate customer engagement and align quality expectations across multiple levels.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers to support compliant, high-quality production.
• Lead and participate in Material Review Board activities and manage internal nonconformance reports and customer complaints.
• Evaluate nonconforming materials and drive containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and resolution.
• Support APQP for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R, capability studies, and First Article Inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing or quality processes.
• Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems.
• Ability to work onsite at Minnesota manufacturing facilities, including training in Blaine or Anoka before the Lexington facility opens.

Nice to have

• CQE, CMQ, or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.
• Experience with optical, multi-sensor, and scanning inspection equipment.
• Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
