Accounts Receivable Specialist (Insurance)

Location: Richmond, VA. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Salary: $19.69 – $27.08 per hour

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of accounts to minimize the risk of bad debt exposure.
• Perform account follow-ups for assigned agents, brokers, and customers.
• Resolve billing problems, answer financial inquiries, and establish financial arrangements.
• Negotiate mutually acceptable resolutions for delinquent payments using collection techniques.
• Monitor accounts for delinquent payments to ensure receivables remain current.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of accounts receivable experience preferred.
• US Work Authorization required; hirify.global does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Digital literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
