Accounts Receivable Officer

What you will do

• Generate manual invoices and apply incoming ACH, wire, check, and card payments.
• Maintain customer records, post transactions, reconcile accounts, and support month-end receivables close activities.
• Monitor aging balances, issue statements and collection notices, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment delays, billing questions, mismatches, and disputes.
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and finance teams while documenting resolutions in the accounting system.
• Support audits and improve accounts receivable processes and reporting.

Requirements

• At least two years of accounts receivable experience, including customer communication about payments.
• Knowledge of receivables workflows, account reconciliation, and collections practices.
• High attention to detail and consistent accuracy.
• Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with appraisal-related services.
• Familiarity with ACH, wire payments, Stripe, Authorize.Net, or Mercury.
