What you will do

• Develop firmware and software for ROC processor solutions using the C programming language.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems in embedded real-time systems.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile development activities to learn best practices.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and test teams to support complete product solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework, academic projects, or internship experience in software development.
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Basic understanding of RAID.
• Must be based in Houston, Texas for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux or Windows development environments.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
