What you will do

• Operate enterprise server systems using Linux and Windows for manual and automated testing.
• Install and configure OS, hardware, drivers, BIOS, and RAID storage configurations.
• Prepare drives for testing, including firmware downloads, format configurations, and security activation.
• Support failure analysis by gathering logs and setting up analysis tools for SAS and SATA drives.
• Manage a test drive inventory of 5,000+ units and maintain a safe, efficient lab workspace.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failures detected in internal and customer systems.

Requirements

• Experience in a test or production department, including equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting host operating systems, test software, and system hardware.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Prior experience in the mass storage industry and knowledge of hard drive connectivity.
• Ability to work on-site in Shakopee, MN on a day-shift schedule.

• Experience interpreting, writing, or debugging scripting languages.
