Salary: $111,070 – $166,400 per annum

What you will do

• Evaluate and define SSD firmware feature requirements and optimize Common Service FW.
• Perform deep failure analysis using specialized tools to identify, duplicate, and fix issues.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and performance optimization of key SSD features.
• Manage continuous improvement and refactoring of SSD firmware.
• Collaborate across teams and sites for requirement analysis, qualification strategies, and customer support.
• Design algorithms and data structures for embedded systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, digital design, or control systems.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in SSD Firmware Development.
• Extensive C/C++ programming experience for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with ARM-based board bring-up and HW driver development.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Systems Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Experience with SSD FTL design, PCIe/NVMe protocols, and NAND flash back end.
• Knowledge of embedded OS kernels such as uCOS or embOS.
• Experience with Linux system development environments or Windows-based simulation systems.
