Sales Trainee (Electrical Distribution)

What you will do

• Complete the Sales Trainee orientation program focusing on product knowledge, warehouse operations, and marketing support.
• Gain hands-on experience in inside, outside, and counter sales, as well as project management.
• Process customer orders, provide quotes, pricing, and substitute product recommendations.
• Build and maintain high-quality customer relationships through responsive service and priority transaction processing.
• Manage operational documents including shipping tickets, price sheets, and sales reports.
• Rotate through various branch and warehouse roles to understand logistics and material flow.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in customer service or sales.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication and basic analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Physical ability to handle up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment including exposure to electrical hazards.
