Sales Trainee (Electrical Distribution)

What you will do

• Complete a structured Sales Trainee orientation covering product knowledge, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and marketing support.
• Rotate through branch, warehouse, project house, and related operational roles to learn materials flow, logistics, and sales.
• Answer customer product inquiries, process orders, generate quotes, provide pricing and delivery details, and recommend substitute products.
• Build and maintain customer relationships while supporting responsive service and transaction prioritization.
• Prepare operational documents and reports, including sales reports, shipping documents, tickets, price sheets, and catalogues.
• Use day-to-day computer systems and occasionally travel on sales calls to shadow experienced sales staff.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service, sales, or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to work at the Anaheim branch and perform physical warehouse-related duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional travel to offsite locations.
