Quotations Specialist

Location: Carrollton, Texas, USA; onsite role

What you will do

• Prepare quotations for low- to moderate-complexity electrical distribution projects.
• Review bid packages, including technical requirements, approved manufacturers, commercial terms, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with outside sales, branches, customers, and vendors on proposal strategy, pricing, deadlines, and project details.
• Format customer requests, issue vendor RFQs, collect pricing, and prepare bid tabulations.
• Submit final proposals, negotiate supplier pricing, and recommend substitute products where appropriate.
• Build customer and supplier relationships while developing product knowledge through meetings, seminars, and training.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, controls, or an adjacent industry preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF editing tools such as Bluebeam or Adobe, and quoting software.
• Ability to collaborate with sales teams, customers, vendors, and other project stakeholders while managing multiple deadlines.
