TL;DR

Product Operations Associate (Healthcare): Managing day-to-day operations of a healthcare product to automate insurance paperwork with an accent on scaling product support and enablement. Focus on translating customer data into product roadmap functionality and optimizing operational playbooks.

Location: Hybrid, must be based in New York City (4 days/week in the Hudson Square office)

Salary: $85K – $105K + Equity & Bonus

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day product operations and prioritize outstanding tasks to ensure seamless execution.
  • Train, support, and coach a growing product support team on quality and turnaround.
  • Analyze customer data and payer codes to identify product gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product roadmap tickets for the engineering team.
  • Execute detailed operational tasks and document processes to create scalable playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Operations, and Customer Experience teams on product enablement.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in management consulting, high-growth startups, healthcare operations, or finance.
  • Strong proficiency with dashboards, spreadsheets, and handling messy data.
  • Ability to reason from first principles and work independently in a chaotic environment.
  • Relentless attention to detail and strong professional judgment.
  • Must be able to work from the New York City office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Background in healthcare, medicine, or public health.
  • Experience with prior authorization or payer-side operations.
  • Familiarity with medical billing (HCPCS/J-codes, ICD-10).
  • Exposure to structured data (JSON/FHIR) or tools like Linear.
