What you will do

• Manage intake of severe cyber events, coordinating with breach counsel, forensic investigators, and other vendors.
• Evaluate claims, recommend accurate reserves, and handle litigation regarding security failures, data breaches, and Tech E&O.
• Assess insurance coverage issues and liability/damage data for intricate claims.
• Manage third-party vendor spend and develop relationships with brokers and risk managers.
• Collaborate with underwriters and business development on marketing and sales presentations.
• Train the global claims team on UK-specific claims handling concerns.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience handling cyber, tech, and/or media claims and litigation.
• Must be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team within a changing work environment.
• Excellent communication and interactive skills.

Nice to have

• Legal qualification in England and Wales or other jurisdictions (e.g., California, Australia, Canada, EU).
• Background in handling wider financial lines claims, including D&O.
• Cybersecurity investigation background.
• Experience with handling US cyber incidents.
