What you will do

• Resolve low to moderate exposure personal lines marine claims.
• Analyze policy documents to confirm coverage and communicate coverage positions.
• Conduct and coordinate investigations into loss facts and the extent of damages.
• Negotiate and settle claims directly with claimants.
• Set reserves and utilize a diary system to ensure timely processing and closure.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and potential fraud for appropriate referral.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must have US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Ability to obtain necessary claims adjuster licenses and complete basic insurance courses.
• 0-2 years of claims handling experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
