What you will do

• Lead small cross-functional engineering teams and technical projects.
• Oversee the design, development, integration, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Balance technical requirements, project cost, schedule, and quality constraints.
• Conduct trade studies, technical evaluations, and technical estimations for project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate suppliers by developing and managing Statements of Work with contracts and quality teams.
• Communicate project status and technical plans to engineering, programmatic, functional, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, equivalent work experience, or a master’s degree with three years of experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience and advanced technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience leading small cross-functional teams and completing projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Knowledge of risk and opportunity management and at least two functional disciplines outside engineering.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with systems engineering, systems integration, CAD, PLM, project management tools, and engineering design tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards, Agile, Lean methodologies, and project budget development.
