VDC Manager, Electrical

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery across at least three complex electrical VDC projects.
• Coordinate BIM updates, perform clash detection, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor detailers and VDC engineers while promoting electrical coordination best practices.
• Build client relationships through high-quality project delivery and support repeat business.
• Model, draft, produce drawings, and interpret electrical plans and construction documentation.
• Lead online meetings and training sessions for distributed project teams, including coordination during early or late hours when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience delivering implementation, training, and support in BIM and VDC.
• 3+ years of experience working for an electrical trade contractor.
• Experience managing 2–3 detailers or VDC engineers.
• Experience with electrical modeling, drafting, drawing production, clash detection, and construction plan interpretation.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States with valid US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Field construction experience and knowledge of building-system coordination and assembly sequencing.
• Experience with invoicing, budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting.
• Experience managing BIM and VDC across the full project lifecycle.
