Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 12 technicians (Mechanical, Electrical, and Utilities).
• Establish daily maintenance priorities and ensure safe execution of preventive and corrective activities.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point and lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA).
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and CAPEX projects.
• Drive TPM, Lean Maintenance, 5S, and equipment performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage contractors and ensure strict compliance with EHS procedures, including LOTO and confined space requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading maintenance teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Monterrey, Mexico.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial utility systems.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting greenfield or startup manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of Reliability Engineering principles and predictive maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with SAP PM.
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems.
