PageWide Web Press Factory and Tier 4 Engineer

What you will do

• Design mechanical and electromechanical hardware solutions for released digital web press products.
• Provide factory engineering and Tier 4 customer support, investigating hardware issues and determining root causes.
• Develop and implement test plans covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, power measurements, and acoustics.
• Improve product performance, reliability, quality, and cost through continuous improvement methods.
• Serve as the technical interface for strategic suppliers.
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary projects with customers, R&D, operations, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and development partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Typically 5–7 years of engineering experience.
• Experience delivering technical solutions across the full design cycle, from concept and prototyping through manufacturing and end of life.
• Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines, analyze data, solve complex problems, and manage projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating architecture and design proposals and negotiating options with management.
• Fluency in English required.
