PageWide Web Press Factory and Tier4 Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

hirify.global designs, develops, installs, and supports digital web presses using proprietary inkjet technology through its PageWide Web Press business.

What you will do

• Design mechanical and electromechanical hardware solutions and industrial controls for released web press products.
• Provide factory engineering and Tier 4 customer support, investigate field and production issues, and determine root causes.
• Develop parameters and test plans covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, power measurements, and acoustics.
• Improve product performance, reliability, quality, and cost using continuous improvement methods.
• Act as the technical interface for strategic suppliers and collaborate with R&D, operations, manufacturing, procurement, and supplier engineering teams.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects and communicate design status, progress, and issue resolution to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Typically 5–7 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines and deliver solutions throughout the design cycle, from concept and prototype through manufacturing and end of life.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use data and analytical methods to investigate and solve technical issues.
• Fluency in English is required.
