What you will do

• Manage, coach, and mentor software engineers to improve team health, product delivery, effectiveness, and career growth.
• Deliver and present technical solutions for large initiatives spanning multiple business verticals.
• Design and develop scalable, highly available, high-performance products across frontend and backend architectures.
• Shape broad architecture and deliver large services, complex libraries, and major infrastructure components.
• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code while maintaining standards for observability, stability, scalability, security, performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with product teams, partners, and stakeholders to estimate effort, evaluate trade-offs, manage projects, and deliver business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of software development experience building commercial applications with modern engineering practices.
• Team leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, coding standards, architecture and design patterns, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
• Experience with cloud technologies and architectures, including AWS, serverless, event-driven architecture, SOA, microservices, microfrontends, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Expertise with JavaScript, Node, Java or Python, and frameworks such as React or Vue.
