Distribution Technology Engineer (SharePoint)

TL;DR

Distribution Technology Engineer (SharePoint/Power Platform): Developing and supporting SharePoint sites and applications for the investment management industry with an accent on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Focus on building web parts, automating workflows via PowerAutomate, and ensuring platform security and compliance.

Location: Houston, Texas. Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Build and test SharePoint sites and web parts following the software development life cycle.
• Administer core Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on developer work and support user acceptance testing.
• Create documentation and processes to enable content owners to support their own sites.
• Collaborate with scrum masters and product owners to provide estimates for development stories and enhancements.
• Provide third-tier support escalation for SharePoint and Power Platform issues.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of development experience with SharePoint Online or PowerAutomate.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Houston, Texas office (minimum 4 days per week).
• Knowledge of .NET, JSON, CSS, and XML.
• Experience with PowerShell or ShareGate for administrative support.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint Admin Center.
