Distributed Technology Engineer (Microsoft 365)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; at least four full days each week must be worked in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Build, unit test, quality-assure, system-test, and implement SharePoint sites, web parts, and applications through the software development life cycle.
• Support SharePoint applications and provide guidance to teams developing with SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Prepare for user acceptance testing, perform quality reviews of other developers' work, and provide third-tier support.
• Create documentation and processes that enable content owners to support their sites.
• Contribute to Microsoft 365 service strategy, security controls, compliance, and enterprise technology design principles.
• Administer and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, and related collaboration services.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of development experience with SharePoint Online or Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Admin Center is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ShareGate or PowerShell is preferred.
• Working knowledge of XML, web services, .NET, JSON, or CSS is beneficial.
• Ability to follow documentation, coding, quality, security, and compliance standards.
