Senior Collaboration Platform Engineer (SharePoint & Microsoft 365)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and up to one day working from home.

Base salary: $114,500–$157,400 per year, plus eligibility for variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, engineer, implement, and support enterprise SharePoint Online and OneDrive services.
• Provide senior technical guidance on Microsoft 365 platform architecture, security, governance, operations, and complex issues.
• Develop engineering standards, reference designs, configuration standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis while implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Automate administration, reporting, governance, and operational processes.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering and integration experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, including SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Expertise in platform utilization, performance, operational health, measurement reporting, and issue analysis.
• Strong analytical, customer service, communication, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineering staff.
• Valid United States work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• PowerShell, automation, SharePoint Framework, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, Power Apps, and Power Automate experience.
• Experience with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, modern development and deployment practices, and Microsoft 365 information governance.
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric administration, engineering, governance, security, capacity management, or integration experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
