What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate developer platform capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, integrations, self-service tooling, and automation.
• Build AI-powered development tools and workflows that improve engineering productivity.
• Own software throughout its lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through production operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify pain points, gather requirements, and drive platform adoption.
• Contribute to distributed systems architecture, infrastructure decisions, security controls, and federal compliance solutions.
• Lead technical designs, mentor engineers, participate in incident response, and improve platform reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience and deep experience with distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, build pipelines, developer tooling, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms and containerized workloads using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Ability to lead technical designs, mentor engineers, debug complex failures, and make independent technical decisions.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, software supply chain security, or federal compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and CMMC.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, API design, software-defined networking, and authentication protocols including OIDC, SAML, or OAuth.
• Experience driving cross-team collaboration and platform adoption.
