What you will do

• Lead a team of developers and a portfolio of technology projects focused on event-driven cloud-native services and full-stack systems.
• Set technical direction and make decisions across system design, architecture, and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and multifunctional teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
• Build teams, coach engineers, support career development, and strengthen engineering talent.
• Drive Agile development, engineering excellence, operational improvements, and cross-department collaboration.
• Participate in the team’s build-it-you-run-it model, including an on-call pager rotation.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, people management, team-building, career development, and talent-retention skills.
• Deep software engineering experience with complex distributed systems and strong technical ownership of an engineering domain.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, engineering excellence practices, Agile methodologies, and project management.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to review code and engage deeply in technical details.
• Strong communication, coordination, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Ideally, experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework; Azure experience is beneficial.
