What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of satellite components, ground equipment, and support materials.
• Select and monitor specialist couriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, export control documents, and related shipping records.
• Ensure compliance with UK customs, UK Export Control, ITAR, and EAR processes.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, maintain accurate inventory records, and support stock control.
• Align deliveries with engineering, procurement, and build schedules while improving logistics efficiency and cost control.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination, preferably in aerospace, defence, high-tech manufacturing, or another regulated technical environment.
• Knowledge of UK customs regulations, export control processes, international freight requirements, and secure handling standards.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems, Microsoft Excel, and shipment tracking platforms.
• Academic background in logistics, business, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline, such as an HNC, HND, or degree.
• Fluent English, strong attention to detail, clear communication, autonomy, reliability, and adaptability.
