Lead Mechanical Engineer (Currency Handling)

What you will do

• Lead the design and testing of currency-handling modules for ATM and financial self-service products.
• Evaluate mechanical technologies and provide recommendations supported by technical analysis.
• Lead mechanical development activities, including estimates, manufacturing options, design reviews, and change management.
• Design mechanisms and collaborate with tooling suppliers and parts manufacturers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Validate designs through stress analysis, assembly tolerance reviews, testing, and corrective problem resolution.
• Release design work products and supporting documentation through the approved systems.

Requirements

• Several years of mechanical design experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience with CAD, preferably Pro/ENGINEER or SolidWorks.
• Understanding of mechanical drive systems, module or platform architectures, and product architectures.
• Experience developing documentation and currency-handling mechatronic systems operating under software control.
• Strong analytical, logical problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and work independently as well as within a team.
