Lead Agilist

TL;DR

Lead Agilist (Agile/Scrum): Lead Agile Squad(s) in applying Agile and Scrum values and principles, facilitating Scrum events, and coaching Product Owner and Development Team on effective Product Backlog management. Focus on servant leadership, continuous improvement using inspect-and-adapt feedback loops with empirical data, and solving complex team impediments while ensuring delivery of business value and proactive risk identification.

What you will do

• Guide Agile Squad(s) in applying the Scrum Framework, ensuring teams realize value from Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach Product Owner and Development Team on Product Backlog management, shared understanding of delivery goals, and what success looks like.
• Facilitate neutral discussions and Scrum events to help teams decide the best course and stay focused on delivering business value.
• Use inspect-and-adapt practices with feedback loops, metrics, and information radiators to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks while operating within the bank’s risk appetite and ensuring positive customer experience.
• Coach squads on self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, dependency management, conflict resolution, and software craftsmanship; remove or escalate impediments when needed.

Requirements

• Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45202
• At least 5 years of full-time business experience.
• At least 3 years of Scrum experience.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to present, teach, mentor, and facilitate at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience communicating and removing impediments outside the team; strong mediation and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.
