What you will do

• Provide advanced emergency treatment, patient assessment, stabilization, and transportation to appropriate medical facilities.
• Lead ambulance operations during each shift and ensure the safety of patients, coworkers, and the vehicle.
• Operate, stock, and maintain emergency vehicles in a constant state of readiness.
• Work with hospitals, public agencies, and other emergency response organizations in coordinated patient care.
• Complete patient care reports, electronic records, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, community programs, and professional development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics is required for Lloydminster positions.
• Alberta operator's licence, Class 1, 2, or 4.
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCPs and a current CPR certification.
• FARE certificate and the physical ability to lift, move, and extricate patients in hazardous environments.
