What you will do

• Assess and administer first aid to associates and refer care to outside providers when necessary.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for injured employees.
• Proactively engage with staff on the operations floor to coach on safe work habits and minimize injury risk.
• Maintain accurate medical records, daily activity logs, and medical supply inventory.
• Facilitate First Aid, CPR, and AED certification classes for site associates.
• Assist with emergency response and drug testing protocols while ensuring OSHA compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current valid EMT, Paramedic, or Active Athletic Trainer certification.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Must be able to work onsite in Sioux Falls, SD.

Nice to have

• Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with industrial wellness programs, ergonomics, and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
• Prior military experience as a Combat Medic or Healthcare Specialist.
