What you will do

• Administer first aid and refer associates to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries.
• Coach associates and leadership on the operations floor regarding observed at-risk work habits.
• Maintain all records of care provided and manage medical supply inventory.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certification classes.
• Support emergency response and conduct random saliva drug testing protocols.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider.
• Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification (from Dept of Health or NREMT) OR Active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or equivalent State).
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Nice to have

• Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED from AHA or American Red Cross.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs, OSHA regulations, and Workers Compensation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
• Prior experience as a military combat medic, field medic, or healthcare specialist.
