Sr. Associate Counsel (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA or Atlanta, GA, United States. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $180,600–$289,300 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Advise Commercial & Money Movement Solutions teams on product development, deployment, and commercial strategy.
• Provide legal guidance on commercial, regulatory, intellectual property, privacy, and contracting matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Lead legal review of product marketing materials, public relations, and corporate communications.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on hirify.global and its partners.
• Collaborate with regional legal and business teams and coordinate outside counsel when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or relevant experience with an advanced degree.
• J.D. degree or international equivalent, with a valid license to practice in the relevant state or ability to become state-registered in-house counsel.
• Experience in payments, financial services, technology, or fintech, with a transactional background.
• Experience with financial regulation, privacy law, competition law, and complex commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, client counseling, business, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal and regulatory initiatives in the U.S. and internationally while handling multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
