Salary: CAD 75,000–90,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and/or commission.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain audit engagement content, methodologies, workpapers, templates, worksheets, forms, and workflows.
• Translate U.S. auditing standards and regulatory requirements into practical software solutions and user experiences.
• Create logic-driven automation that improves audit quality, consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and subject matter experts throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support requirements definition, testing, user acceptance, and high-quality product delivery.
• Research standards and industry developments and identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodology, risk assessment, internal controls, documentation, and engagement execution.
• Hands-on experience applying U.S. accounting and auditing standards and performing financial statement audits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States and work Eastern Time Zone hours.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience developing audit methodologies, templates, or professional guidance.
• Experience with hirify.global Working Papers, Cloud Audit, or similar audit technology platforms.
• Experience with SOX and internal control testing and documentation.
• Experience in methodology teams, technical accounting and auditing groups, or professional training.
