What you will do

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own and optimize the close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as the senior technical accounting leader, owning policies for revenue recognition (ASC 606) and leases (ASC 842).
• Manage external audits and implement a scalable internal control framework.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting organization aligned with business growth.
• Evaluate and optimize ERP and financial systems, specifically NetSuite.

Requirements

• CPA certification required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in complex or high-growth environments.
• 7+ years of people management experience, including scaling accounting teams.
• Prior experience in a public-company or similarly rigorous reporting environment.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Big 4 public accounting background.
• Experience in defense technology, aerospace, manufacturing, or SaaS.
• Strong background in inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with international entities and multi-entity consolidations.
• NetSuite implementation or optimization experience.
