What you will do

• Lead telecommunications design packages from concept through construction administration.
• Design outside plant routing, backbone distribution, communication rooms, rack elevations, pathways, and cable schedules.
• Develop coordinated 2D drawings and 3D BIM deliverables using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate technology integration with architecture, structural, and MEP design leads to resolve clashes.
• Work with client technical representatives to define requirements, parameters, and milestones.
• Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and quality-control documentation while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree, four-year degree in engineering or technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of progressive telecommunications design and construction engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, BICSI design practices, and NFPA 70 requirements.
• Experience leading telecommunications scopes on active design projects.
• Experience preparing project schedules, engineering estimates, and construction specifications.
• Must work onsite in Tempe, Arizona, United States.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of telecommunications design experience in mission-critical or advanced technology environments.
• BICSI or equivalent certifications such as RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPM.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D BIM coordination with Autodesk Revit MEP.
