Electrical Engineer III (BESS)

What you will do

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to perform detailed physical and electrical design for BESS.
• Create design deliverables including single line diagrams, general arrangements, connection details, and bill of materials.
• Perform power system studies such as load flow, reactive power, ampacity, short circuit, and arc flash.
• Prepare computer-based models and write technical material, equipment, and construction specifications.
• Review spec sheets and submittals for conformance and provide field assistance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and ensure adherence to high ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 1–4 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with utility-scale BESS.
• Proficiency with PowerFactory, ETAP, CYMCAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, or Visual Lighting.
• Experience with 3D BIM design software.
• FE or PE licensure.
