What you will do

• Develop physical layout designs for transmission and distribution substations, including equipment arrangements and grounding layouts.
• Prepare construction drawing packages across various milestones (30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC).
• Integrate vendor drawings and apply IEEE, NESC, and utility-specific standards.
• Coordinate with protection, controls, and civil engineering teams to deliver high-quality design packages.
• Perform internal design checks for accuracy and support occasional field reviews.
• Maintain organized engineering documentation and design files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of relevant engineering or substation design experience.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BlueBeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• FE or PE licensure.
