Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Location: On-site in New York City, New York, United States

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Support the design of electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, and life-safety systems.
• Contribute to renovation, new construction, and facility modernization projects.
• Review design documentation and conduct field surveys to document existing conditions.
• Perform load calculations for equipment replacements and upgrades.
• Support load sizing and service requirements for beneficial electrification projects.
• Coordinate electrical design work with other engineering disciplines and support construction administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of electrical design experience.
• Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Interest in electrical engineering for education, healthcare, institutional, and commercial facilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to provide technical mentorship to less-experienced engineers.
